Overview
Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI applications discover and call tools exposed by an MCP server. RAGFlow supports both sides of this integration:
Use RAGFlow as an MCP Server
RAGFlow's Go API server exposes MCP tools through its built-in MCP endpoint.
Connect an External MCP Server to RAGFlow
Connect an external MCP server to RAGFlow to make its tools available to RAGFlow Agents.
RAGFlow MCP Tools
The Go MCP runtime registers three tools. Calls run as the user selected by the endpoint's authentication mode and have a 60-second server-side timeout.
RAGFlow MCP Client Examples
