RAGFlow Terms of Use
Last Updated: 2026-04-23
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RAGFlow websites, Cloud services, software, documentation, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent you are authorized to do so.
2. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
- All activities under your account
You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security incident involving your account.
3. Cloud vs Self-Hosted / Open Source
3.1 Cloud Services
If you use RAGFlow Cloud, we provide hosting and related features under these Terms and any applicable order form / subscription terms.
3.2 Self-Hosted
If you deploy RAGFlow in your own environment, you are responsible for:
- Your infrastructure, security configuration, access controls, and compliance
- Any data you process with your instance
RAGFlow does not control your Self-Hosted environment and is not responsible for third-party infrastructure you choose.
3.3 Optional telemetry / diagnostics (if enabled)
Some builds may include optional telemetry or diagnostics features. If enabled, such features may collect limited usage or error data to help improve reliability and security. You can disable such features where available.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments (if applicable)
We may offer paid plans, trials, and usage-based components.
- Fees, billing cycles, and included limits are described in the order form or plan page.
- Taxes are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
- We may change pricing and packaging from time to time, subject to applicable notice requirements and your existing subscription terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to (and not to allow others to):
- Violate laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Services
- Conduct security testing without written permission (e.g., scanning, probing)
- Use the Services to develop, deploy, or facilitate harmful or illegal activity
- Circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
- Resell or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted by an agreement with us
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or pose a security risk.
6. Customer Data and Privacy
Your use of the Services may involve processing data, including personal data.
- For Cloud Services, our processing of Customer Data is governed by the applicable agreement and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
- For website visitors and business contacts, our processing is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our IP
The Services (excluding Customer Data) are owned by RAGFlow and its licensors and are protected by IP laws. Except for rights expressly granted, no rights are granted to you.
7.2 License to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms and any applicable subscription plan.
7.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g., SSO providers, cloud storage, communication tools). Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Beta Features
We may offer alpha/beta/preview features (“Beta”). Beta features are provided “AS IS,” may be changed or discontinued at any time, and may have limited support.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- RAGFLOW WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RAGFLOW FOR THE SERVICES IN THE [12] MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY (OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RAGFlow from claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Services in violation of these Terms
- Your Customer Data or content
- Your violation of law or third-party rights
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access:
- For violation of these Terms
- For security, legal, or operational reasons
You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain sections survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability).
14. Governing Law and Disputes
Governing Law: [Specify jurisdiction]
Venue / Dispute Resolution: [Courts / arbitration / mediation terms]
Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in an appropriate jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
